Paula grows vegetables, herbs and fruits on a five-acre, three-generation family farm in Sebastopol, California, using organic & regenerative principles that honour both land and people. Her philosophy is refreshingly simple: good food should be accessible to everyone. At Lala’s Family Farm, “pay what you can – take what you need ‘’ isn’t a slogan, it’s a lived practice. Through an honour-based farm stand system, Paula invites her local community to enjoy fresh, seasonal produce while strengthening trust and connection between grower and neighbour.

Rooted in learning, growing for community.
Paula’s journey into food cultivation was shaped through her studies with the Alameda County Master Gardeners, where she dedicated countless volunteer hours to education, community events, and inspiring others to grow and eat their own food. Today, supported by her family, she continues this mission as an active member of the Sonoma County Master Gardeners Association, blending lifelong learning with hands-on farming every day.

In February 2026, Lala’s Family Farm, invited Abimax to launch a community-driven fundraising initiative to support the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa, turning on-farm action into meaningful community support.

When federal funding cuts began putting pressure on food banks across the country, Paula Glogovac didn’t sit back and wait for help to arrive. As the owner of Lala’s Family Farm and a dedicated Master Gardener, Paula took action, launching a community-powered fundraising initiative to support the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa. By turning 100% of her personal Abimax affiliate fees into direct food support, Paula is helping put fresh, nourishing food on the tables of local families who need it most.

Less funding, more families in need.
Several federal programs that directly funded food purchases for food banks and schools have been cut or cancelled in recent years. In 2025 the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) cancelled over $1 billion in funding for two major programs that helped schools and food banks buy food from local farmers. This included roughly $660 million for school nutrition and about $500 million for food banks. Food banks say these cuts reduce the amount of food they can distribute and lead to empty shelves or smaller distributions.

Growing gardens, feeding communities.
Lala’s Family Farm, nestled in Sebastopol, is best known for its philosophy, “Pay What You Can - Take What You Need” from the farm gate produce stand. This honour-based model is rooted in trust, dignity, and care, and the new initiative extends that same philosophy beyond the farm gate, reinforcing the family farm’s long-standing commitment to equitable food access and community resilience.

The Redwood Empire Food Bank founded in1987, has provided food and nourishment to those facing hunger, serving more than 135,000 children, families, and seniors in Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte Counties. With over 300 monthly direct service distributions and 130 local partnerships, we ensure that anyone experiencing hunger has access to healthy groceries every week of the year.

At the heart of the fundraiser is the Abimax Magnostream Garden range, a non-chemical magnetic water treatment solution designed to reduce limescale, improve soil health, plant growth, and water efficiency. Through her partnership with Abimax, Paula is donating 100% of her personal affiliate fees (10% of all Magnostream sales) directly to the Redwood Empire Food Bank. Customers also receive a 10% discount via a dedicated link, helping drive community participation.
